Background Information:
Insulin-like peptide 5 (INSL5) is a heterodimer of the INSL5A and B peptide chains, and a member of the insulin/relaxin superfamily that is a potent agonist for the G protein-coupled receptor RXFP4. Possible roles include gut contractility, thymic development and regulation, food intake, and glucose homeostasis. Provided as 20 μg of dry powder.
