cAMP Hunter™ eXpress Human Amylin (AMY3 Receptor) GPCR Assay (CHO-K1)

Background Information:

The cAMP Hunter™ Human Amylin (AMY3 Receptor) eXpress kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This kit assesses ligand (e.g. Calcitonin, Amylin) based activation of CALCR-RAMP3 GPCR activity via detection of increasing levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wild type CALCR-RAMP3, a naturally Gs coupled GPCR complex. Upon activation of AMY3, the increase in levels of intracellular cAMP leads to an increased signal from EFC when the cAMP detection kit is applied.
eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates. Please note that this product expresses the cyno version of this receptor.
