Background Information:
Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is a gonadotrophic pituitary hormone responsible for regulating the development, growth, and pubertal maturation of reproductive processes and organs. FSH works synergistically with the luteinizing hormone to control the funtions of the ovaries and testes. Dysfunction will lead to infertility or subfertility.
