PrecisION™ Recombinant hNav1.5 Sodium Ion Channel Membrane Preparation

Background Information:

The PrecisION™ Nav1.5 membrane prep is a crude membrane prep with high levels of Nav1.5 for use in studying binding affinity of drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting ion channels. This membrane prep enables assessment of ligand binding affinity via detection of levels of radioactivity. It is derived from our proprietary stable recombinant cell lines to ensure high levels of Nav1.5 surface expression. PrecisION™ membrane preps can be used to screen for ligand binding affinities at Nav1.5 using a competitive radio-labeled ligand approach. Increased binding affinities will lead to higher radioactive signal. Membrane preps contain 1mL of 2mg/mL frozen membranes derived from a stably modified clonal cell line which was chosen for optimal receptor expression.
