Background Information:

TSSK4 (Testis-specific serine/threonine-protein kinase 4) is a serine/threonine protein kinase that is primarily expressed in the testis, where it plays a role in the regulation of spermatogenesis. TSSK4 has been shown to be involved in the regulation of sperm motility and morphology, and alterations in TSSK4 expression and activity have been linked to male infertility. Research has suggested that TSSK4 may also play a role in cancer.
